At 16, Cristina DeMarco joined the Bridal Reflections family. At the time her mother was a seamstress who asked the owner, Tony Micari, if her daughter could work as a stock girl over the summer. It was apparent from the beginning that Cristina was special.
Even at an early age Cristina always went above and beyond her responsibilities to make each and every bride happy. One early memory of Cristina's initiative was when she helped a bride who wanted to change the blusher on her veil. She took it upon herself to take the blusher in the back and, to everyone's surprise, used her sewing skills to modify it to the bride's liking. The bride was very grateful.
Cristina continued to work hard and became a bridal consultant, assistant manager, manager and eventually Vice President and Senior Buyer. Her dedication to the company is palpable to all those around her including employees and industry professionals. Many of the younger employees look to Cristina as a role model and a success story of how hard work truly does pay off. Cristina just celebrated her 30th Anniversary with Bridal Reflections and we feel so blessed to have her!
