Experience: When my wedding was postponed from 2020 to 2021, and my original dress was not delivered correctly, I felt like the world was against me, and I would never get to have the wedding of my dreams. It turned out that having a postponed wedding was the best thing that ever happened to me. Not only did I get to move my wedding to my dream venue, but I got to go wedding dress shopping for a second time. After watching Selling Sunset during quarantine and seeing Galia Lahav for the first time, I immediately went online to see where you could try on her gowns in NY. After reaching out to Galia Lahav to get more information, they contacted Bridal Reflections. It was only a matter of days after the first email inquiry that I got a call from Bridal Reflections, letting me know they got my name from Galia Lahav and when I would like to schedule an appointment to come in! Arriving at Bridal Reflections 5th Ave location was a bit overwhelming. Still, after a brief conversation with my bridal consultant Sam (who was excellent and the name was easy to remember), she took me over to the Galia Lahav section, and we started to pull a bunch of gowns. After trying on tons of gowns, the Maya gown kept standing out in my head. My only hesitation was the back. My old dress had a completely open back, and it was something I was still holding on to. So when Sam mentioned that we could customize the back to make it an illusion back, I was sold! Once the dress came in and we went for our fittings, the team was beyond helpful. With all the customizations, getting into the dress was an art form, and the staff took the time to go slow and show me exactly how to wear it correctly. Vera and her team worked closely with me to ensure the dress fit perfectly for my body type. I am not saying I recommend a two-year engagement and a postponed wedding because of a global pandemic, but in this case, it made my wedding even more special because I got to find my dream dress at Bridal Reflections!
