Experience at Bridal Reflections: Our wedding was on our 8-year anniversary! My husband and I have been together since I was 16 years old, and I can truly say that the midtown location made my dreams of marrying my teenage love, my best friend, come true!

I work at IATSE National Benefits Fund, just a few blocks away from the midtown location. As the workers at the midtown location may have heard, I had a dress nightmare with my prior dress order from Pakistan just TWO weeks before my wedding; I was a complete and utter mess! After the news of my first dress, one day after work about a week and a half before my wedding, I called Bridal Reflections, they were the first and only store I called. The midtown location heard my story, allowed me to come in the day I called without an appointment, and was there for me as I found my DREAM dress that very same day!

My phone was ready to die, so I couldn’t show them any photos or ideas I had. A friend of mine was with me, who had her phone on FaceTime with my mom. I simply explained my dress, “A classic and royal gown, with intricate details, long sleeves. A timeless look my future daughters will love… OR literally anything that will be ready by my wedding day at this point”. To have to find a gown unplanned, without my mother or any family with me (because of the short notice/spontaneous visit to Bridal Reflection), the staff at Bridal Reflection was there by my side as tears swelled in my eyes. They were all like second mothers or sisters, watching me as I twirled, smiled, and cried. They heard my dream dress and pulled this gem. It was the beautiful Ysa Makino gown, the SAME gown that I had pinned ALL over my Pinterest wedding gown inspiration board. A dress that I never thought I’d actually get to wear. My husband and I have always deemed ourselves #TheGogolliAdventure, and boy was my dress a sudden adventure! To think that I was able to have my dream gown just ONE week before the wedding, ONE alteration visit (The seamstress is literally a magician I don’t know how they did it), and picked it up just days before my wedding (Another staff member helped me carry this extremely heavy masterpiece in my uber, because again, I had to pick it up promptly) … It was a hectic but an absolute complete dream come true!! I know all brides are ecstatic, but from the bottom of my heart I was the happiest bride walking out to see the love of my life since I was 16, the only dream I ever had, in the only dream gown I ever wanted. As kids, he and I would call each other Prince, and Princess (cheesy I know, but what teens aren’t at that age), and years later, on my wedding day, I felt like a Queen in my wedding dress, awaiting her King. It was magical, and a night to remember! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making my dreams a reality, and being a part of the most special day of our lives. To all of Bridal Reflections, especially the incredible staff at the midtown location, thank you a thousand times!

The new Mrs. Naginah Gogolli
